Clone form update question

In one of my forms i need to edit a certain field pretty much each & every day.

I also have a clone of this form just in case something goes wrong etc.

The question is, Can the clone just be update to take effect of the changes in the form it was cloned from ?

Otherwise i need to keep cloning the form every time.

Every time you do a change on the original clone, you must create a new clone with the new version of the form. I would suggest to rename with a date or something that helps you to recognize the latest version.
