Is digital signature legally binding in England?

    Also please advise if digital signature capture is legally binding in England as I want to use this in a new account form.

    I'm not sure about the legalities of digital signature in England. But I assume that they should be in accordance with the law. Based from this reference, they have the Electronic Communications Act, 2000 and The Electronic Signatures Regulations 2002 that tackles digital signature.

    Also, in this PDF guide provided by www.gov.uk, they should be valid.
