    Can the Feedback form be mobile responsive?

    Asked by assistivetech on June 08, 2015 at 01:07 PM

    I really like this but it's not being responsive in mobile or tablet view. How do I make it responsive? If not that, then how can I make it hide in mobile and tablet views?

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, I believe the feedback form cannot be mobile responsive. This is because you are declaring a fixed width and height in the Feedback embed code.

    If you wish to hide the Feedback button in a mobile device, you can probably use a custom CSS code for that. If you can share us a the link to your website where the embed form is, we can help you on creating the custom CSS.

    In my case, this is how I will do it:

    1. Embed two forms in your website.

    -One is iFrame

    -One is the Feedback Embed Code.

    2. Use custom CSS code to display the forms.

    Example:

    @media screen and (min-width: 550px) and (max-width: 2400px) {

    #feedbackbutton {

    display: block;

    }

    }

    @media screen and (min-width: 100px) and (max-width: 549px) {

    #iFrameCode {

    display: block;

    }

    }

    The code is just an example. But the idea is to set the display to "none" or "block" depending on the screen size of the device.

    Or you can also use the form's full source code to have it more customized.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
