Users typing in thier own value in a drop-down menuAsked by williamsreg on June 09, 2015 at 05:46 PM
I have just finished tweaking all the forms that were imported from ADOBE FORMSCENTRAL and so far so good.
The one things I haven't been able to figure out is how to allow the user to have the option of entering their own values on a drop-down menu. This won't happen too frequently but from time to time there are scenarios where the choices provided on the drop down menu are not applicable and the user needs to type in their own.
In ADOBE FORMS CENTRAL, there was a way to set the drop-down menu such that the user can type in their own values. We need this same feature to be retained. Any assistance would be appreciated.
There is a widget that allows end-users to add options in a dropdown lists.
Please check on User Contributed Dropdown Widget.
Here is a demo form that have the widget working on it http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43438068244962?
Hope this help. Let us know if there is more we can assist you with.
