    FTP integration setting missing from a clonined form

    Good morning.

    I've noticed that when I clone a form using a Sub User profile, the FTP details are missing and have to be re-entered.

    Is this expected behaviour or a bug?

    Hello Ben.

    Removal of any integrations, including FTP integration, is intentional upon cloning a form from one account to another. This was done to respect privacy and security of our users, because this prevents everyone else from cloning your form and getting access to your integrated Google Drive folder, DropBox folder, or your integrated FTP folder.

    Besides removing these integration, we are also actively removing any email addresses from your Email Notifications, and Saved Conditions, to help protect your email address from being exposed to someone else without your consent. All your email addresses are changed with the default account email address of the account that has cloned your form.

    We are also actively removing any personal data - such as your PayPal account information - from all our Payment Tools. Only the product lists and non-sensitive information are kept as they are in the original.

    I am pretty sure that I have missed listing out some of the other things that we also remove from the cloned form, but essentially - we are removing all data that we can identify being your private data which should not be visible to another person that is cloning your form.

    If you would like to integrate your cloned forms to your FTP again, you will have to perform it again from a cloned form - How-to-Enable-FTP-on-Form-Submissions

    Thanks for your reply. So even though it is a sub-account from the main account it still wipes the FTP details?

    No worries as long as I know I will remember to add the FTP details onto each new form.

    Yes, even if it is a sub account - it is still another person/account, so we strip this sensitive information while cloning, out of precaution.
