Spinner: export the values as numbers instead of text

If you look at the submission that was submitted at 2015-06-09 10:56:40 by Deka Herzi, you'll notice that you entered '01' in the Mozzarella field.  This isn't a big deal by itself, but when I export the data and run it through my data cleanup process, it stores that value as a text, not as a number.  I found this to be the case with all values in which users entered trailing zeros.  Would it be possible to modify the spinner logic to prevent this?  Or at least export these values as numbers instead of text?

Let me send this to our developers so they can see if this can be done.
