How to add a saving option so users don't have to submit the form and re-open it every time they want to save it

Edit: Not interested in making the form read only; I thought this was a post on adding a "save" option so users didn't have to submit the form and re-open it every time they want to save it.

You seem to be asking if there's a way to save submitted data on a form without having to re-open and save it?

Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure that I understand the workflow that you would like to create for this as the only saving methods are saving the form edits, saving edited submissions, edit link in notifications to return and update saved data, and save and continue.

Can you please explain more with an example of how you want this to work so that we can try to help you with it better?
