What I want to do is be able to use a jotform to record form fields and send them to google sheets and then go back later and use a different jotform to record additional fields.
An example would be using a jotform for the intake of a product like
Product serial #
and then a second form:
So basically a serialized product intake form, followed by an outgoing product form based off of the first. with the goal of building a google sheets doc that can show a product intake, and if and when it is sold.

If I understand your concern correctly, you want to integrate two forms into a single Google Spreadsheet? If so, unfortunately, this is not possible with the current integration of Google Spreadsheet in JotForm. You can only integrate one form to one Google Spreadsheet. However, you may try the IMPORTRANGE function or use Zapier to connect multiple forms to a single spreadsheet https://zapier.com/zapbook/jotform/google-docs/3379/add-jotform-submission-to-google-docs-row/ as suggested on the following thread:
