Authorize.net amount field with a $ symbol

Hi there

We are using the authorize.net widget on a form.  We have noticed that when you put the $ symbol in the amount field the form will not process.  Is there any way to have the form process if the dollar $ is in the form?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Authorize.Net is accepting numeric amount values, so the string value with the $ symbol will not be processed correctly.
