Is it possible to implement a search functionality in a form?

Hi,

I am trying to create a form for data input but at the same time is their a field that can be added for search functionality, so that old data can fetch and populated .

Unfortunately, we don't have a field that you can use for searching purposes.

We do have the auto complete widget that might provide a similar functionality, but the list for that widget is fixed and you would need to prepopulate it first in order to make it work.
