Example - I have drop down menus listing products a customer can select for purchase. I need to also allow them to select a quantity. What would be the easiest way to handle this?

@mathquiz That makes a lot of sense!
@jayres Would that solution be suitable for you? If so, the Matrix is located in the Survey Tools menu:

Yes it would for most of my categories, although I have 2 or three product code drop down menus that have approximately 30 or so product codes. Need to be able to select as many different codes as there are listed (if drop down has 30, then any combination bewteen 0 - 30 product codes) as well as being able to enter a quantity for each. For example, I have a category that lists recoil kits we supply for various handguns we offer (kits only, not an arms dealer...). So the template drop down has approximately 15 types of handgun. Well, numerous agencies use numerous hand gun types. So I need to list each in the drop down, have them be able to select numerous types along with a quantity for each. Or at the very least, have an option to allow a user to select multiple check boxes along with a number signifying quantiy needed.

You can also use shrunken Spinner fields.
Please take a look at the following example:
