    Security / SSL / Form Submission Restrictions

    I would like to test your free form form the purpose of retrieving insurance information from patients. I on average do not anticipate getting more than 10 forms submitted to me per month. Does this mean that for those 10 submissions, the forms will be encrypted for free? What happens if I get an 11th? How much would that cost, or would I then just be prompted to upgrade? Do you know if your SSL certificates meet HIPAA guidelines? When I delete a form submission off of your portal, does any of the data from that form also get deleted permatently? What does 100 submissions per month mean? Does this mean a total of 100 forms can be sent to me per month, regardless of the number of fields? If I have more than one form, does the total of submissions from all forms combined need to be 100 or less, or is it 100 submissions per form? Sorry for so many questions, but I am trying to decide on the right service. I think your smallest paid plan would eventually work well for me. But I have set up and deleted many due to various restrictions, advertising and such that just did not look professional Thanks in advance for answering my questions. BTW, is there a phone number I can call you at?

    Michael, we prefer to only deal with one topic per thread. So, perhaps the best route for me to take would be to answer the first just the first question here and include only links to the others that are unrelated.

    A: You would have seen it stated on our Pricing page that Free accounts are allowed a total of 100 regular submissions and/or 10 secure ones. This actually means that when either of those quotas is reached in a calendar month, all of the forms on the account become disabled for the remainder of the month unless an upgrade to Premium or Professional is made. If no upgrade is made during the disabled period, the forms will be automatically re-enabled on the first day of the following month. Both submission limits are spread across all of the forms on the account. In other words, submission totals are counted on a per account basis and not per form.

    So, let's say that in December you have 10 forms and when just half of the month has passed you have received 10 regular submissions via each of the forms (100 regular submissions in total), all 10 forms will be disabled until January 1, regardless of how many secure submissions were received. Likewise, if the allotted 10 secure submissions were used within just the first 5 days of December, all of the forms on the account will be disabled for the following 26 days of December (unless an upgrade is made) regardless of how many regular submissions were received. (Whether all 10 submissions were received via just one of the forms or each of the 10 forms received just 1 submission makes no difference.)

    A: Much of this has already been answered above. It has nothing to do with the number of fields in your forms nor for that matter, the number of forms on the account. You can have as many forms as you wish and each form can have as many fields as necessary. What is of importance to us is the total number of submissions received by the account in a given calendar month.
