Hide Empty Fields on modified Email templateAsked by Bellabridalboutique on June 20, 2015 at 05:51 PM
In reference to the last post by Kenneth, is it possible to enable the "hide empty fields on emails" preference if you have made changes to the email alerts? How would you recreate the alert so that it is no longer "dirty" and still keep all the fields you need that are on your form?
Please refer to the user guide also.
Currently, the feature will NOT work for modified email template.
As mentioned on the user guide, if you modify the default Notification Email template, it will prompt you with the following error while thee "Hide Empty Fields" in Email is enabled.
We have a request ticket for this feature already also. That feature is to allow hiding of empty email fields even for modified email templates.
I will also submit your post to be added to the requested feature.
An alternative option/workaround you can also try for now is to instead use condition emails
This will require creating different Notification email template, and then the appropriate email will be send to the intended Recipient base on the options/answers done on the form.
Hope this help. Let us know if you have further inquiry.
