Uploaded PDF not able to get link

Asked by TamikaC on June 22, 2015 at 01:48 AM

Hi, I have just uploaded a PDF through the imported PDF forms. I got the finished product which is great because it looks the same but the only problem is there is no link to be able to put this in the website. I am wondering how am i meant to get the link. I have tried everything but there is not much you are able to do with a uploaded PDF that's just a PDF. I also tried replying to the email i was sent with the form attached as it said if there is any problems just press reply but it will not let me email you back.

    Thanks

get link to get pdf forms problem product thanks

    Hi TamikaC,

    Thanks for contacting us.

As per checking, I think imported PDF forms cannot be embedded to website (there is no submit button in the Preview of the form). It gives you an option where you can receive the submission from your PDF form to JotForm. When you click Download PDF the popup below will appear.

If you want to embed the PDF form in your website, you can clone the PDF form and embed the cloned form to your website. To clone a form, you can follow the instructions provided in the article: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

Please do not forget to add a Submit button in your cloned form.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.

No sorry i created the form another way it is a new rental application. It is only saved on my computer there is no link originally for it. What i want it to do when i upload my form is to create a link for it so it can be put into the website. I'm thinking this might not be able to be done?

    Hi TamikaC,

Do you mean you want to upload your PDF form and get a link that can be put in your website and allow user to download the PDF form for them to fill up? If so, unfortunately, this is not possible in JotForm. You will need it to be uploaded in your server, once you have uploaded it you will have your own link for your PDF file. If you want to embed your form in your site (display the form in the webpage), you will need to recreate the PDF form in our Form Builder for it to work.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Regards.
