Some of my users cannot see the jotform on their browsers - typically if they are using Chrome or Internet Explorer. Is there any special coding needed?

I see that your account SharmDas is having two JotForms. As I check your JotForms using direct URL on Google Chrome v43, Mozilla Firefox v38 and Internet Explorer v11 I am able to access them normally without any issues.
Are the forms embedded on any of your webpage and experiencing the issue from the webpage? If you continue to see the issue, could you try clearing the browser cache and see if the issue is resolved?
