Saving a form as fillable PDF

Asked by mtubay on June 22, 2015 at 02:06 PM

I am trying to save one of my forms as a fillable PDF. It looks a little funky as a PDF. Some of the words are covered up by the fill in fields.

Is there something I can do differently when saving to avoid this?

    Thanks, Maria

The PDF forms do not wrap text very well.  Ensuring that the field width is slightly wider than the label for that field will prevent the PDF from wrapping the text and placing into the field itself:

You field heading, such as "Home Address" in the screenshot above are HTML elements.  The PDF forms do not interpret such elements properly.  If you replace your headings with actual heading fields and remove the HTML fields, the headings should also show up properly.

If anything else specifically does not show, let us know and we will be happy to help.
