I have three boxes that my ad reps will type dollar amounts in. How do I make JotForm total the sum of those three boxes in the Total Price box?

The easiest way to do this is by utilizing the Form Calculation widget on your jotform.

Basically what you do is just add the 3 fields that you want to get the sum of and place a plus sign between them - it is as easy as that :)

    This is how it looks:

Now as you notice, the field representation is colored with orange color. This means that all letters will be rejected and only the numbers from the input box will be used and sum together.

So if you type 1a2 in the first field, 3b4 in the second and 5c6 in the third what you get is the 12+34+56 and the total of 102.
