How to unsubscribe from a free/premium account? And is there no support via e-mail available?

    Dear Support-Team,

    I opened a test-account using my e-mail address, and would now like to open a "proper" account for our institute, running on my e-mail address again. The latter doesn't work, because the e-mail address has already been used for the original test-account. Now I have three general questions, because I couldn't find any answer to these issues so far:

    a) How can I delete a free account, so that the e-mail address is available again?

    b) When unsubscribing from a free account seems that complicated, how is it going to be when one wants to unsubscribe from a premium account? (There is money involved in these subscriptions)

    c) Is there no support via standard e-mail available?

    Thank you for your help, best regards,

    C.

    First off, thanks for you interest in our service.

    a) How can I delete a free account, so that the e-mail address is available again?

    Due to security reasons JotForm users can't delete their accounts. Only authorized people (supporters, developers, etc.) can delete an account. If you want us to delete your account, just let us know via this thread.

    b) When unsubscribing from a free account seems that complicated, how is it going to be when one wants to unsubscribe from a premium account? (There is money involved in these subscriptions).

    As you know, there are two payment methods on JotForm. Plimus and PayPaL. If you won't need your premium or professional plan anymore, you can cancel your paid service anytime you wish. Under your Account Settings you will see a cancel button. If you click on it, you will be automatically redirected to Plimus or PayPal and you can manually cancel your subscription. When you cancel your subscription you will not be changed again. But your account will stay Premium until the time you have paid for expires.

    c) Is there no support via standard e-mail available?

    We always recommend our customers to post their questions here. JotForm Supporters are located in different countries and time zones. So you can always find someone to help you out.

    I hope that you find this information useful. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions. We'll be happy to assist you.

    My account didn't get cancelled through paypal when I clicked it. Here is the message:

    The unsubscribe button you clicked through is invalid. You can find the status of all subscriptions in your transaction history.

    @jstrategy,

    May I request to please create a separate thread for your question so that we can address it directly to our higher management. They can cancel your subscription for your convenience. Thanks in advance.
