Hi, I'm Franck and i create some form to my design job to create products links with people answers.

I'm new on jotform (before on adobe Formcentral) and I have some problems with PDF Form.

I created my form on Indesign with fill in, check box. I exported that in Interactive PDf, after that i use Import PDF tool from JotForm to create the same things like Adobe Form Central,
Exportation works good, i use Submit button to collect automatically, But when i fill my form and submit, on the submission tab on Jotform i don't find answers.

Can you help me, i try some tools but i completely freezed !

Sorry for my english, i'm french =)

    Thanks all !

Do you mean that you are trying to find and edit your submissions that were received after you had imported your form? Or do you mean that you are trying to locate submissions from your previous form that were supposed to be imported alongside your pdf form when you moved here?

From what I can see so far you currently have 1 submission in your submissions viewer. Please see this guide here on How to View Submissions. In there you can edit them. They are also editable from a form fields tag box {edit-link} that can be added in your email notifications.

If I have misunderstood you though or if you need more help then please let us know.

    Thanks for your answer.

    my problem is different :

i create some pages with different checkbox like screenshot of my form above, and on form central i could see what kind of check box are selected (for example "construction" on the screenshot)

with Jotform i can't find what options are selected by people. I complete all of my form (12 pages like the screenshot) and submit on Jotform. In my submissions i can't see what i selected.

If I understand your question correctly, Franck, the issue is that selecting some of the checkboxes from your PDF form will result in your submissions not having it "named", so it appears as just "checkbox". I believe that this is caused by having options without any labels on them.

This is because your fields need to have labels on them, so that the submitted data can "know" under which column it should go in your spreadsheet. It seems that you have multiple blank fields without any labels and textual options, so that is why the submissions are such as in your screenshot.

    I hope this helps.

In "valeur d'exportation" i write the label that i want in my submissions board but there are nothing here.

i try on indesign and on acrobat but it the same issue.

As per your explanation, I understand that your form was built in Adobe FormsCentral, I have also checked your account and the form you described is not present in our system, also I tried to check on your form id#51733508256355 but I had a Form not found message:

Ive a problem with submissions for PDF form imported Image 1 Screenshot 20

I would greatly appreciate it if you could transfer the original form, please use this link: http://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/ , as soon as the form is moved to our JotForm system we will be able to find a workable solution.

    Thanks.

Hi Aury, Thanks for your help !

I was user of Adobe FormCentral but i created my form with Adobe Indesign, then i exported that in interactive PDF to keep all of my checkbox fillable.

I used http://www.jotform.com/adobe-formscentral-alternative/ to upload my "PDF form only".

I will upload my original form !

    thanks for all =)

Franck, I'm afraid that an imported fillable PDF is not editable with our JotForm tools. Upon taking a look at how our tools see your form, it seems that many fields don't have any recognizable labels associated to them.

Imported PDF form, as seen by our tools, has empty labels:

Fillable PDF has them visually represented:

But as our tools can't see any labels on these other options, it still appears blank when submitted.

This is why you see checkbox (or blank values) in your Inbox and on your Submissions page. I would highly recommend that you please try creating your form online on JotForm, by using our tools, and then your form should have all its fields set up correctly with their labels.

We can't assist you in creating your form with external tools, so it would be best if you create your desired form online on JotForm, by using our Form Builder or Form Designer.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Hi,

Thanks for your help ! I decided to create my form on Jotform but i've another problem, again...

I want to align picture and checkbox in formbuilder but now i got this :

Ive a problem with submissions for PDF form imported Image 1 Screenshot 20

It's possible to align each checkbox under the pictogram ( i created 2 fill : one with the 3 pics and an other with check box)

    Thanks !

    Franck

Franck, as we can provide assistance with only one issue per thread, I have moved your new question to a new thread, here:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/596500

We will be happy assisting you in that thread shortly, so that your form is built just the way you want it to be. :) Thank you.
