    Question 1:

We us a form to track check out of equipment to users and they frequently re-checkout items.  Is there a way to make a form query the database of names already entered and "auto-fill' the name to speed the process of checkout?

    Question 2:

Is it possible use a bar-coder entry with a form.

    Thank you in advance

If the form to track checkout of equipment and the form used to checkout is the same. You may create a Save and Continue Form using this guide:

    How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

But, If the form to track checkout of equipment and the form used to checkout are different, you can pass the data or values of the fields via URL and you may use this guide:

    Prepopulating-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters

However, if you would like to save the submissions of the form to track checkout of equipment on a database and be retrieved so that it can be used to checkout, I would recommend for you to hire a developer for that already.

Is it possible use a bar-coder entry with a form.

I have moved this concern to a different thread that you may follow via this link: http://www.jotform.com/answers/595140. We are trying to implement a one-question/query per thread forum. We will attend to your other concern shortly.

I hope this helps. Should you be needing any further assistance and/or clarifications kindly let us know and we will be glad to help you. Thank you.
