Is it possible to edit a submission on a payment form and charge only the difference generated by the changes made on the submission?

I have set up payments through our auth.net.  vendor has submitted their registration and payment has been completed via credit card through auth.net.  they call and want to make an addition so I go in and edit their form and need to add to their total.  When I change their amount due, I need to only charge the additional amount to auth.net but need the whole amount to show in the view submission for my reporting.  Can you please advise.

    Thanks

I see that you're using a calculation widget in your form, but you're not using it for your payment field. If you want to use it you need to configure it like the picture below.

Regarding your question, you can edit the submission to reflect the changes but you would need to manually make the new charge on your Authorize.net account directly since when a submission is edited the payment gateway is not triggered which means that no further charges will be made trough the form.

    Hope this helps.
