I'm using the form calculation widget and one of the fields I want the user to input a x%.

How do I turn the field into a percentage field?

    Hi,

Could you give us more specifics on what you would like to achieve or an example of how you would like the form to perform? A formula of it would also help us, I can see in the form that you have a "Win Ration %" but I'm not sure how or what you are calculating.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thanks.

    Hi Charlie,

I'm using Win Ratio % in other calculations.

So user inputs "Number of tenders per year"

    Inputs "Win Ratio %"

Which will then calculate the actual number of tenders won.

"Number of tenders per year" * "Win Ratio %" = "Tenders Won"

When someone inputs "Win Ratio %" I would like that to be a %field

    Also another calculation is

"Cost of tenders" / ("Number of tenders per year"  *  "Win Ratio%")

To have a percentage in the result, you should divide the "Win Ratio%" field by 100. So, your equation should be like this:

Here's a cloned version of your form with the above changes:

And, can you be more specific with your last question? For what field is that? I don't see the "Cost of tenders" field in the form.

    Thanks

Hi Thank you for the response.

However what I am wanting is for the user to input a percentage directly into the form. Then I can use this percentage in my calculations.

    Hi Winwintendering,

Thank you for providing us with more information regarding what you would like to achieve.

The field would need to be divided by 100 for the number entered into the field to be treated as a percentage.

Please see the screenshot below for the calculation

Below you can see the result of the calculation on a clone version of your form

I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
