My form calculation fields change immediately after pressing 'Submit'Asked by kylie on June 25, 2015 at 03:45 PM
I have 2 form calculations and each has 1 or 2 conditions applied to it. They are exactly correct, until i press submit, then they change to what i've entered into the form calculation field (which is not correct). I do not know what to put in the original formula.
please help me understand how to fix this problem; the problem is that the form calculation values change once Submit is pressed.
It appears that there is some conflict with calculation conditions on your form.
I would like to suggest calculate the totals withing widget fields. For example, you can add a Price field which will be populated with conditional price, and everything else calculated with the Form Calculation widget fields.
If you need any further assistance, please let us know.
thanks. how to you assign values of 5 and 0 to the yes and no?
i am also having problems showing the monetary values as $_ _. _ _. i've got it at 2 decimal places, then i changed it to 4 and it made no difference. appreciate your help.
THE PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE NOTHING IN THE FORM CALCULATION FIELDS. COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME WHAT TO PUT IN HERE. like for the price, what am i supposed to put in there? i can't put $7.5 or $8 because they're different and i don't know how to do that. Frustrating!
if i can get the price one figured out, then it should all work.
I've assigned the values of 5 and 0 to the yes and no.
The only thing left to fix is the price form calculation field. I've got the conditions you suggested in there, but I have nothing except '$' in the form calculation field.
The only other thing to fix is the decimal problem.
Thanks and sorry that I am a pain.
Can you please describe properly what exactly is the problem with your form http://form.jotform.ca/form/51755730318254? calculation.
When I test the form, I see it calculate like this
Please describe clearly which condition and calculation is wrong on the screenshot I provided above.
