Checkbox options keep appearing back after removing them

Asked by dcallaghan on June 26, 2015 at 04:32 AM

    Good morning,

I have been working on a fairly large form for the past few days now, I am using check boxes that are to only have 1 option on them (clicking on them will reveal other information on the sheet)

No matter how many times I delete the extra options and save it, they keep randomly appearing again, sometimes not immediately, it is extremely frustrating!

I know what you mean there and I know what is the reason.

It is very easy to remove the text from the options and leave just one of them (for example) and skip that little green OK, instead just clicking on the save button.

When we do that, the options seem to be shown again.

If we however click on that OK first, they are gone forever.

You can see a quick demo of it here:

    - I do want to mention that when the form only holds checkbox, it is easy to see this happening, but when the form is having other form fields, it will not be as easy to notice.

Now there are two more ways to remove options depending on what you prefer over toolbar.

The first would be by clicking on them directly - I call it inline editing, like so:

The second would be over the properties window, as shown here:

    I hope that these help.
