Embed Code: Adding ?nojump code does not work on Mozilla Firefox and Safari

Asked by dgsloves on June 26, 2015 at 06:34 PM

When user hits send, webpage then goes to top of page (can't see thank you unless scroll down). Pretty much sums up my question. Any way to have the thank you message display without my site getting reset to the top? One of my forms is in the footer. Would be nice to have the thank you message appear right where and when they hit send. A bit confusing if the message was sent, unless they scroll back down.

    Thanks!

    Hi David,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Can you try embedding the form in your website using the iFrame code below and see if it works.

    <iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotform.us/form/51467780650157?nojump" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:487px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    <script type="text/javascript">window.handleIFrameMessage = function(e) {var args = e.data.split(":");var iframe = document.getElementById("JotFormIFrame");if (!iframe)return;switch (args[0]) {case "scrollIntoView":iframe.scrollIntoView();break;case "setHeight":iframe.style.height = args[1] + "px";break;case "collapseErrorPage":if (iframe.clientHeight > window.innerHeight) {iframe.style.height = window.innerHeight + "px";}break;case "reloadPage":window.location.reload();break;}};if (window.addEventListener) {window.addEventListener("message", handleIFrameMessage, false);} else if (window.attachEvent) {window.attachEvent("onmessage", handleIFrameMessage);}</script>

Do get back to us if the issue still persists.

    Regards.

That didn't seem to help. It only made things worse.

It still jumps to the top, and the formatting is now off too (big blank white space below form).

    Hi dgsloves,

Can you try adding ?nojump code to the embedded script code of your form and see if it works?

    <script type="text/javascript" src="//form.jotform.us/jsform/51766543994167?nojump"></script>

If the issue still persists, I will escalate this to our development team for them to further check. Please let us know if this works.

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.

I already tried that, but it doesn't work. I'm using it on Weebly. Thanks for your help!

    Hi dgsloves ,

I did some test submissions in your form and the when I submitted the page it did not go to top. See demo below.

Can you try clearing your browser cache and see if it works? By the way, I am using Chrome browser in testing. If you are using a different browser, can you give us the browser version and device you are using so I can further check?

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.
