    Date field: Default custom date is not working

    Hi,

    I'm trying to set a read only static custom default date of December 31 2015 to use for a calculation. I set the default date to 31/12/2015 but when I preview the page it appears as 31/06/2015.It results in my calculation being inaccurate. I have tried it in a brand new form to confirm if this is an issue with the form I was working on but I get the same result. Could you please confirm if I am setting this correctly?

    Thanks for contacting us.

     

    Are you referring to the Date Time field? I tried adding a Date Time field to one of my blank forms and I was able to set the default date to custom date 2015-12-31. See demo below.

     

    Can you try to delete the existing Date Time field and add it again and see if it works? If the issue still persists, can you provide to us the link or name of the form in question? Can you also provide to us the browser version and device you are using so we can further check the issue?

    Here is a totally new form with a custom static date defined.

    When I preview the form the month (NYE 2015) automatically changes to June (06).

     

    I'm using IE11 on Windows 7.

    I have cloned your above indicated form http://form.jotform.co/form/51772352786868 and was able to recreate the malfuntioning on the date field.

    I am forwarding this situation to our next level so they can find a workable solution, however I cannot state a window time as of when this can be solve.
