How to duplicate the form field?

this doesn't work as it requires the duplicates to exist an unknow number of times first

the logic i want is a whole lot simpler, please explain how to achieve this.

Dropdown user selects the number

The form section is shown that number of times  i.e. 5 is shown 5 times

The above method does not allow this - to show section dropdown value of times

Can you please explain in more details what are you trying to achieve? 

Are trying to show/hide some fields based on some selection inside of your form?

The articles do not help,  what i need to do is repeat a section of the form a number of times selected by the user from a dropdown.  i.e.  user selects 5 the form section is shown 5 times.

The show hide options do not work as the number is dynamic and simple needs to repeat the section by the  number selected from the dropdown.

i need the one set of fields repeated a dynamic number of times ( based on the choosen dropdown number)

for example:

dropdown : how many events do you run?  ( dynamic unknown number)

form field section displays x times

event name:

event start date:

event finish date:

event address:

etc. etc.

in other words multiple sets of information need to be collected based on the dropdown value, but as i don't know the number of events show hide doesn't work without duplicating the fields by a set number which then makes the dynamic value no longer dynamic.

At the present it is not possible to duplicate fields using conditions, you can however use the dynamic text-box to add fields as required.
