My pdf forms were successfully imported from FormsCentral. Why can't I use the form as is? It seems I am forced to clone the form.

Imported PDF forms are imported in a format the is not directly transferable to a web version.  They are limited to being used as PDF forms.  You can download them and distribute them as PDF's but they cannot be edited or used online like web forms.
