    Fillable PDF Form: Unable to create fillable PDF on a shared form

    Hello,

    I am trying to get a fillable pdf version of my form and I am receiving the following error message when trying to open the pdf:

    Acrobat could not open xxxxxxxxx.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

     

    Can you help?

    Hi,

    Upon checking your form, it seems like it is shared to you by the account username yfchelpdesk.

    I've tested a sub account user in my end, it seems like the problem is that sub account user are unable to create a fillable PDF form from a form shared to them.

    I'll need to escalate this to our developers to have it check and fix. Apologies for the inconvenience. We will update you on this thread as soon as we hear any news.

    As a temporary workaround, you can directly ask the owner of the form to send you the fillable PDF version of that form, it should still work in their end.

    I'm glad that you have managed to get it in the owner's end.

    Regarding the problem, we will notify you on this thread when we hear any news from the developers if a fix has been implemented.
