I'm having the same problem, it's happened 3 times now since we went live on Monday. Nothing has come through on our PayPal.

Just to let you know that I moved your reply here as a new thread. Here's the new link: http://www.jotform.com/answers/606945.

As for the issue, the item in the Paypal field is selected by default. That makes it required and cannot be deselected. In this case, I think the issue is related to the way how the user filled the form. If you didn't receive a Paypal payment email notice as well as the form email, then that means the user have failed to send the payment or refuses to do so after getting redirected to the Paypal payment page.

You should check your form's incomplete payment section: http://www.jotform.com/help/564-how-to-view-incomplete-payments-of-your-payment-forms/.  Then you should advise users to complete the payment, otherwise, you cannot receive them and you cannot process their submission.

    Thanks

What if I hit complete submission instead of view details by accident?

You can review this article about the Incomplete submission payments.

    -Paypal-Incomplete-Payments-FAQ

This is mentioned on the article

    Completing submissions without payments

Under a form's submissions page, an Incomplete Payments button will appear in the toolbar if you have submissions that were not paid for, or whose corresponding IPN was not received by JotForm (hence the failure to be marked as completed). This button will bring up the list of the submissions with incomplete payments.

Please let us know if you need further clarification.

    Cheers

Yes but if I hit the complete button and didn't mean to, is there any way to reverse it?

Unfortunately no. There is no means to put it back again to the Incomplete Payment inbox.

But can you tell us what is the need to reverse it?

If it is really is just an incomplete submission payment , then there should be no worry even if you accidentally completed it.

Its because it will not generate any payments anyway. It will just appear as a regular submission in the form completed submission box (which you can also just delete if you wanted to)

    Thanks.
