Editing submissions of a disabled form

I would like to add my vote for this feature.  It is an odd configuration to have a form behave on the admin side the same way it does for the respondent; I've never seen this before.  That basically defeats the purpose of an admin view.  The admin view should allow viewing, editing, and saving of all fields at any time regardless of the status of the front-end form.  And, it would be nice to be able to view, edit, and save all the fields on one page so that the admin doesn't have to remember to click through the entire form and Submit in order for any changes to be saved.

Just hoping that this is high on the developers' list.  I am in the process of making edits to submissions on a closed application form which is rather long and am having to hack the form itself to make editing possible (since I can't disable the form if I want to make edits to submissions) and tolerable (it is a lengthy form and the edits are at the beginning and they can't be saved without clicking the entire way through to the end).  It would be a significant improvement to be able to make edits on the admin side regardless of the public settings of the form.

I see that my colleague has raised this to our developers, but I must say that this does not mean that it will be done soon, or even at all.
