On our F-1 application https://secure.jotform.us/form/51685676995175, the DOB field is required, but we've received submissions over the last few days that do not contain the DOB. When I go to the preview page, I can submit w/o completing this field, but on the actual application I cannot. I'm fearful this problem could happen w/any field.

I have tested your form and I was not able to submit your form without filling Date of Birth field.
I have also cloned your form and tested my cloned form, but still with same result. I was not able to submit the form without filling all required fields.
Also when I inspected your form I saw that you have lot of conditions with fields that are deleted form your form. I would suggest you to delete those conditions.
Maybe because of those conditions there was a glitch and Date of birth was not shown inside of your submissions.
Also in preview page it is possible to submit the form without filling any required fields.
You can also try to clear your form cache.
Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

I am fearful that some of our forms are not requiring submission of the required fields.
The thread below is regarding the required field “Date of Birth” on the F-1 application that was submitted w/o the required field.

I have checked submissions on your account and I noticed that on two of the submissions Date of Absence is missing.
I have cloned and tested your form and I was able to reproduce mentioned problem on my cloned form, but only when I manually entered the date. However I was not able to reproduce mentioned problem when I picked a date from a calendar.
Unfortunately it is not possible to force users to choose date from calendar and if they enter a date manually and if they did not write date in good format, that data would not be passed inside of submissions.
Possible workaround is to set your data time field to have 3 fields instead of one. To do that select DateTime filed inside of your form than select Show Properties and set Lite Mode to NO. When you set your DateTime field like this, values from those fields will be shown inside of your submissions even if user write them and not use calendar.
Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
