How can we limit dates to weekends at least 2 weeks in the future?

Asked by samanthacrawford on July 15, 2015 at 09:53 AM

Hi, I have been trying to restrict my form so that only weekdays can be selected, in addition to dates which are more than 2 weeks in the future. Unfortunately, neither of these seem to work. Is this a global issue or am I the only one experiencing this issue?

This is a re-post of a comment on How to Use the Date Limits Option

selected addition limit date weekend limitation no past dates 2 weeks from now

To allow the dates that are in the future - 2 weeks from now (14 days) and only weekends (Saturday and Sunday) this is how they should be set up:

    - This sets it up to accept weekends that are in the future, and now we scroll a bit further down to also set it up for 14 days from today and we do that like so:

This should disable all days including today and 14 days from today. If you wish to allow the people to register on that 14th day, you should just change 14 to 13 and that is it.

Once you set it up like that you should not have any issues in having it work. Do check out this clone of your form where I have already added the Date field with this limitation: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51954740231957

If you wish, you can clone it to your account by following the steps here: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

Of course if you have any questions or issues with it, just let us know and we would be happy to assist :)

Many thanks Ben. I tried editing the one you sent created and it still didn't work. Tried it on another computer and it seemed to behave. I have been using Chrome so don't know if you have had this issue reported. IE seemed to work fine.

    You are welcome.

Now could you please tell me if the form I had made (http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51954740231957) is working for you when you try it in your browser?

I am looking at my form on Chrome and it seems to work:

Since I work on FireFox, that is what I used to create it and to test it it was working for me before and it is working for me again now.

The only thing to note is that because the limitation is for 2 weeks in the future, this month can not be selected, so the only available option on the first 'page' would be the first of the next month (August).

I presume that you are actually having this issue with the Limit Dates after you have made your own changes?

If so do let us know on which form this is happening and we will take a look at the set limitations to check out why they would not be working for you.
