I took a look at this form: http://www.jotform.us/form/40546087969166 and I can immediately tell that it is a very large form. When I got to the end I have noticed that there is no submit button yet, but that it goes further onto the next page.

This is actually the main reason why your form is not being created as a proper PDF file - because it is too large. What I would suggest is to take a look at the following guide that gives a closer insight into the fillable PDFs and the plain PDFs and their creation: Fillable PDF - Everything you need to know about JotForm fillable PDF creator

The fillable PDF creator is still a new feature and it is continuously being updated.

I've cloned your form and try to convert it to a fillable PDF, but it is still loading in my end. It is quite a very long form and made take a couple of minutes to have it converted. I'll get back to you as soon as I see the results in my end.

    Hi,

I was able to convert my cloned form "New Client Discovery Document" in my end. But, there are formatting issues on it. Here are some examples:

Here there are some screenshots of the online form showing in the PDF form and is stretched.

You could try clearing your form's cache and try converting your online form to a fillable PDF form again. Please do check the guide shared by my colleague regarding this feature here: https://www.jotform.com/help/312-Fillable-PDF-Everything-you-need-to-know-about-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator. Check the FAQs to what is currently possible to be converted, for example, widgets will not work in the PDF form.

I will also forward this to our developers so that they can be aware of this problem and will probably make improvements. We will update you in this thread as soon as we hear any news.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

The whole thing has major problems. It does not even look close to the attached document that I generated just last month. The only difference from the attached doc and the doc currently in JotForm is 2 total fields, so I’m not sure what’s sending everything so out-of-whack.
    Thoughts?

As far as I know such long forms were not being created properly as fillable PDFs. This was a known bug due to the limitations that are set at this time. Over time our developers did consider increasing these, but as far as I know this was not done so far.

The only way that such long form would be created properly would be if you happened to click on the request in just a right time resulting in that (proper layout).

I can not give you any further info as to why it does not get resolved properly if the form is long, but I believe that the results are each time slightly different.

We will need to wait for our developers to see this issue and get back to you in regards to this - I can confirm that my colleague has already raised this to them, so as soon as they have any news, they will update you here, on this thread.

Unfortunately Justin, no, there are no updates that we could give you at this time in regards to this issue.

As mentioned before, the issue is that the form is very long, so it might take some time for our developers to make it possible to recreate the fillable PDF of the form of that size perfectly each time.

I will ask our developers to see if there is any update that we can share, but as soon as there is we are going to share it with you here.
