What I'm trying to do: Essentially, I'm interested in creating a dynamic password scheme where the user navigates to a jotform from an auto-responder email containing the URL and the dynamic password. The password sent via email might consist of Username + ID (hidden) fields. This I can do.
What I need: Once user enters Name and Password, upon clicking submit, the "dynamic" password would be retrieved and compared to user-provided password before redirection to a new page.
Many, many thanks.

I hate to say this but retrieving data from previous submissions via a form is not possible. Your goal exceeds JotForm's capabilities. You might be able to accomplish this though by creating your own custom script.
I am sorry if I couldn't be of further help with regards to that. Should you need help with other things related to JotForm, do not hesitate to let us know.
