New Request: Need for Dynamic Dropdown List Options

Asked by memoran on September 13, 2010 at 10:45 AM

I am looking for suggestions and a solution for a dynamic dropdown list.  I want to make a dropdown list within a form semi-dynamic with its options.  I would love to somehow, via a javascript file or csv file, etc. write out a file from my database server hosted by www.revion.com to my web server also hosted by revion and have it linked to jotform to fill in a dropdownlist.  An example is that I am offering specific classes on specific dates.  I want the have the database provide the class dates and automatically remove them when time has passed and add them when I schedule new classes, etc.

I have already done this with providing a javascript file that does a document.write to other web servers.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I think you can accomplish this using the complete form source code option.

    On the Form Builder:
    1. Open "Setup & Share" tab on toolbar,
    2. Click on "Share Form"
    3. Click on "Advanced Options"
    4. Click on "Download Zip".

Then you will have all CSS and JavaScript files and you can easily implement something like this.
