How to use Conditions for this? I think my head is going to explode!

Asked by brookvale on September 13, 2010 at 05:42 PM

I have created a "details" form with a number of conditional URL re-directs.

    For example

If "Sphere" is less than 325

If "Sphere" is less than 325

If ALL of these conditions are met, then redirect too.

    blablah.blahblahvlah.co.uk/buydeal1.html

    ***UPDATE

OK its not conflicting conditions, and its not the redirect URL.

Could it be because conditions attached to the Survey Tools "Spinner" dont recognise properly?

Thing is I have 2 spinners, each one called "Sphere" minimum value on both is 0, and maximum is 800. They go up in steps of 25.

I want it to be that if both fields are below 325, then the customer will be re-directed to a form on a new page. I have it set up as in the example above.

Now on the buydeal1.html I have anohter script which then allows the customer to purchase. Problem is it appears the condition isn't working!

Any ideas why this may be? I think I have checked everything. Would it be possible that if 2 conditions conflict, then it just re-directs to the generic URL?

    Cheers

    James

OK I have sorted out the problem myself.

It would seem that if you want a condition which works on a "less than basis" you also need to add a greater than 0 rule for it to work with a spinner. In my case though 0 is a valid option so this is how my condition looks

If Sphere is less than 325

If Sphere is greater than -0

If ALL of these conditions match, then re-direct too.........
