when I create the PDF form to download to my computer, your program asks if we want to include the "Submit" button. However, when I do -- and we click on "Submit" after completing the form on a computer... nothing seems to happen. Thanks

Are you opening in your browser?  The fillable PDF will be shown in your browser, but you will not be able to fill it out. This is due to the fact that browsers are using the smallest amount of code possible to quickly load and show PDF and do not have all the features Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat or Foxit have.

I just tried it with Adobe Reader, and it worked:

Yes... I can read and fill out the form as well. BUT... what happens when you click on the "Submit" button? Will this get recorded as a "Response". If not -- why do you ask if you want the button on the form? I do understand that it works when you are filling out a form online. But again, why is it there when creating the form to download it to your computer, and then email the form to another person. What if they hit the "Select" button if the form is downloaded to their computer. (Sorry but the link you sent for more info does not open.)

    Hi,

I believe the link shared by my colleague here will help: http://www.jotform.com/help/312-Fillable-PDF-Everything-you-need-to-know-about-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator. Please try it again or refresh the page.

As mentioned in the options, if you include the submit button, the PDF will automatically collect the data filled out by the user when they click the submit button, and it will send it directly to your JotForm account as a response.

However, this works when the PDF form is filled out using the Adobe Reader or Foxit. Also, please do take note that there are limitations in the PDF form, please see the guide especially the FAQs section. Conditions and widgets will not work in the PDF form as mentioned there.

I'm not sure that you meant by the "Select" button?

Do let us know if you are still having problems on this.

Here is a PDF form on my computer that I would like to send to a client.
However, clicking on the "Submit" button does not result in a "Submission"
    that I can review.

What is the form in question? Because I tried it with this form: http://www.jotform.us/form/52014776865159, and it worked.

When you add the submit button, you will be able to submit the data, and this one can be viewed in the Submission view in your account. Are you using Adobe Reader or Foxit to submit it? It works only with those software.
