    How do I change the font color in a matrix?

    Asked by one9ooh6 on July 22, 2015 at 03:13 PM

    Is it possible to change the font color in a matrix? Currently I have the font color set to white as my JotForm is on a dark gray background but unfortunately the white font is not working right with the matrix as the font color is also white.

    Please check this form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/52025798557971?  is this how you wanted it?

    I have added this CSS code to the form

    .form-matrix-column-headers {

      background: #555555 !important;

      color: #ffffff !important;

    .form-textbox, .form-textarea {

      color: #ffffff !important;

    .form-matrix-values {

      background: #555555;

      color: #000000 !Important;

    Please try adding it also on your form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51875389059976

    This worked...I tried everything and still couldn't figure it out. Why did you use the !important tag?

    I can see it working on your jotform http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51875389059976 also.

    The !important tag was to make sure that the rule take higher precedence over the other rules that does the same in the CSS. Here's a good read that should also help https://css-tricks.com/when-using-important-is-the-right-choice/
