How to expand Drop Down Menu Description (Title) width

I have about 30 drop down items.  And perhaps another 100 check boxes where the width of the description needs to be changed.

I came over from Adobe Forms Central and this was super easy to do there.  Drag to the width I wanted and DONE!

From what I can tell in the forums, this requires custom coding.  I find this a terrible option - as I have no idea how code works.  And to be very honest, I don't have time to learn.  I though JotForm was like Adobe - WYSIWYG type program.  So far I am not sure this works for us.  BUT willing to give it a try.

I do not want to learn Coding.  So please if that is the only option, include exact instructions for how to write it, where to put in in the long line of coding I can see.

If you look at the form that imported from Adobe forms (link provided) if you go to page 6 of the form.  This page has the title 2016 Health Clinic - DNA CHIC.

You can see several drop down options - ALL ARE IN CAPS.  Each of these could take up far more space to the Right since the drop down only offers Yes/No.  So there would be no reason for the descriptions to take 2 lines!!!

Such as CARDIAC DISORDERS should be on one line, not the way it currently shows.  Additionally, look at the main item below CARDIAC DISORDERS - NEUOLOGIC/MUSC.....  You can't even read the entire word.  Again, no reason these can't be on online.  I should be able to resize this easily!!!

Next, but same basic issue - Under each Yes/No drop down is a list with check boxes.  Immediately below CARDIAC DISORDERS is Congestive Heart Failure - you can see there is more than enough room for that to be on one line even with the item in column 2.

I must be able to expand these fields so the information can be seen.

If it does need to be custom code - you really need to make a way people can do this with out the custom.  I have been hours resizing all my fields that came over from Adobe Forms.  A simple drag to the width desired would fix it.

    Thank you!

You can actually alter the label width without any coding needed.. using the Form Designer like this

when applied in the actual form, it will look like this

the dropdown list input also have width property that you can use to scale the width.

Hope this help. Please let us know if this will not work for you.

We appreciate your feedback on this.

    Thanks.

THANK YOU!  Okay, I think I see the issue.  Since this came in from Adobe, I was just trying to edit the form in the screen that comes up when you say "edit".

You have to get out of that first screen - what ever that is called.  Then get off the properties tab to see the Design tab.  Not very intuitive - but at least I found it.

Fabulous!  This may help with many of my issues - formatting wise.  Thank you.

Oh, one more question - same subject.  What you showed me worked, and I can probably deal with the results.

However, it changed all the labels sizes - there are some I might not want that size.  Is there a way to change One or Ten to different size for this apparent default size?

This default took care of over 100 I think and that is fabulous.  Now I have about 15 that should not be that size.

    Thanks again!!

Sorry to be such a pain.  Why do these changes look good on the design page and look so bad (out of whack) on the builder page?  I did preview and I think it looks okay - I have some adjustments to make but overall this took care of my issue.  Curious why the builder page does not look correct.  Would make it rather hard to get a final product if I had not already done all the big work at Adobe.

Am I missing another screen that would help me see as I work (without having to preview each step of the way).  Sort of a pain on a 16 page form.

I think there is much I still have to learn!!!

You can open the form preview in a new tab, you can the periodically refresh to view the changes you've applied
