Voice Recorder widget: an option to play a tone when the recording limit is reachedAsked by cultad on July 25, 2015 at 10:18 AM
I use the voice recorder and I can set up the number of minutes for recording.
However, it can be difficult for a user to keep track of the time specially if they are recording an article that they are reading. What happens is they keep reading and then realize that the recorder has timed out.
Is there a timer with an alarm tone that can be used with the voice recorder so the user will have an idea of the time.
Unfortunately, it's not possible for now. A workaround would be to advise the user to shrink or resize the browser windows so to view both the form and the article.
But I have forwarded this thread to our developers as a feature request. If there are updates, you should know it via this thread.
You can now play a sound when the recording time is up.
