creating list of email recipients for email alerts

The first time I did this it was a snap.  Today I wanted to add a name to the list of recepients for several of my forms. (CCPmember is the user) and instead of showing the new email address on the drop-down Email List, it's giving me the default title (Notification 2) or whatever else I put in the angled line of the "postcard".

How to fix this glitch so I can add and see the addition of a new email address to the recipient list.

    Thank you,

    Claudia

    Hello Claudia,

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this issue from my side. Could you please clear cache and cookies in your browser, and then try it again? I hope this will help.

Note: you can also add several recipients to one email notification.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help you.

I changed browsers (moved to Chrome), cleared the cache and history, still no go. There must be a way to delete the email list and start fresh, no?

I am sorry, I have missed your point about working notification name from the angled line of the "postcard".

This is how it works, you have to put the name under mentioned line.

Then, you will see that name under Email List.

Thank you for using our services!

OK -- I think I understand. The drop-down list under Email Alerts is NOT a list of addressees. The bottom right field is where to list all recipients of the alert, separated by commas.

I don't quite get the point of multiple email alert titles (that the drop-down box provides), but I can set one Email Alert with multiple recipients...

Does this work only as long as the return address (upper left hand corner) is no-reply@jotform??

    Hello Claudia,

    That is correct.

I don't quite get the point of multiple email alert titles (that the drop-down box provides), but I can set one Email Alert with multiple recipients...

We allow multiple Notifications and Auto Responders, so you can see several notification names under Email Alerts.

Does this work only as long as the return address (upper left hand corner) is no-reply@jotform??

You can configure your Notification to use some other sender address, however, it may increase the rate of rejected/went to spam notification messages, because of using not an actual sender email. That is why it is recommended to use noreply@jotform.com sender address.

    Thank you for cooperation.

Please let us know if something is not clear.
