    Hello,

Is it possible to insert a print button in a TEXT field just to print the contents of that page?

    Hello sixtowns,

Why do you want to add a print button inside a "Text" field? Is there any specific reason to do so?

You can directly add a print button in your form. Please check the following guide on how to add a print button in form:  http://www.jotform.com/help/24-Print-Button-on-Forms

Alternatively, you can directly add the following code in a "Text" field:

    <button id="input_print_158" style="margin-left:25px;" class="form-submit-print" type="button"> <img src="http://jotformeu.com/images/printer.png" align="absmiddle" /> <span class="span_print" id="span_print_158"> Print Form </span> </button>

    Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Hello sixtowns,

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to only print the content of a text field. It would require custom script to be added in form which is not allowed. If you are okay to download your form's full source code, we can provide a workaround. Please be noted to if you download your form's full source code and add custom code, it cannot be imported to JotForm. You will have to host it yourself.

Another workaround is to create a PDF file of the content you want to display in the text field. You can either embed the PDF file in a "PDF Embedder" or just add the PDF URL in the text field. Users can open the PDF file and print it.

I am also sending a feature request to our back end team to allow print of only "Text" field. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from our back end team.

    Thank you!

    Thanks, that’s no problem.

How can I do it so a text field is included in the submitted form?
