I implemented jotform on our Shopify contact page. The first two forms worked flawlessly and submissions were saved and email notifications were received. However after the first one email notifications were not being sent email. Submission were being saved to the jotform inbox. This behavior happened while doing the Test email function also.

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
Upon checking your forms email alerts, I did not find any issue with it. The submission emails should work normally and you should have received the submission emails.
Our email server log confirms that the submission emails are being sent successfully to email address "email@example.com". Please check the logs here:

Have you checked your spam folder already ? Please check the spam folder of your email client and see if the emails ended up there. If you do not find emails in your spam, please contact your email service provider to find out if they are blocking any emails from jotform.com. Please ask them to whitelist our domain names.
