    Unable to adjust label spacing or field contents position next to label

    Asked by hilltopkennels on August 01, 2015 at 04:45 PM

    When laying out my form I'm unable to adjust the position of the field contents of a number of fields relative to their labels and I'm not sure what I've done wrong.

    One field that is affected is {2ndDogBreed} it should be laid out the same way as {1stDogBreed} so the dropdown entry box doesn't overlap the edge of the shaded form column.

    I've tried selecting the field in design mode but there are no options to change the width of the field entry or the spacing relative to the associated label.

    Just wondering if some rogue CSS has crept in somewhere?

    Other fields are affected but if I know how I fix it I can sort those too.

    Many thanks

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

    I was able to see the issue referred to when viewing your direct form.

    This issue can be resolved by using Custom CSS code to adjust the size of the fields label. As can be seen in this clone sample of your form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/52127545713958

    Please inject the following CSS code to resolve your issue:

    .form-label.form-label-left {

        max-width : 175px;

    }

    #label_5 {

        min-width : 175px;

    }

    #label_226 {

        max-width : 152px;

    }

    I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
