Is It Possible to Assign a Numerical Value to Each Selection in a Matrix, so the Values Can Be Used in Calculations?

    Hello,

       I have a fairly complex form, making a great deal of use of Option and Tickbox matrixes.

       Is there a way to automate a summing of the responses, perhaps using a widget like Spreadsheet?

    Thanks for asking. While this functionality isn't currently available for matrices, it's possible with radio button fields, as illustrated in this short demo. If you clone it and examine the properties of each radio button field, you will see calculation values assigned to the answers:

    The expression in the Calculation field's work area tallies the answers:

    The form's layout can always be adjusted via CSS. Would such a solution be suitable for you?
