Re-populate fields from one form to another?Asked by Pippathemakeupchair on August 03, 2015 at 12:47 AM
I have created a basic Enquiry Form which is working lovely. I then use Zapier to create a new calendar entry in my Gmail calendar for each submission so I can check availability. I would then like to send a Booking Form back to the client requesting additional information to create an invoice. Is there a way to populate the Booking Form with the information the client has already entered into the Enquiry Form so they do not have to enter it twice?
one form another booking form check create then
That should be possible by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters.
This is how I understand it.
1. User fills out Enquiry Form
2. User will be redirected to Booking Form with Prepopulated values from Enquiry form.
You just need to change the "Thank You" URL of your Enquiry form redirecting to Booking Form with the values of the form field.
I hope that helps.
