Download uploaded files programmaticallyAsked by Ariel Rauch on August 03, 2015 at 06:10 AM
I would like to use Jotforms for Graphic file uploads.
In order to make it fully automatically I need a notification that a new file was uploaded and a way to download the file by programmatic access (RestAPI or something else)
Is this possible?
You can use the File Upload field from the Form Builder.
These are the guides that may help you explore the File Upload Field:
Every time your form is submitted you will be getting Email notifications when you set up a Notifier on your form. You can check the guides below to learn how to set up Email Notifications:
Other guides that may help you:
Once you're receiving notifications on your email already, that's the time you parse the Email to get the link of the File uploaded via your form. You can use a Wget or alike to grab the file using that link. You may need to hire a developer for that as needed.
I hope this helps. Should you have any further questions or needs any clarification with any of the instructions or information mentioned above, please feel free to let us know and we will be glad to help you anytime. Thank you.
