Am I able to send the first part of a form to one person then onto another for further completion?

For example this would be an approval form following a request.  The request part would be completed by one person and then the submit should go to the next person to complete their bit and then the whole completed document to a third person.  Is this possible.

It is possible to a certain extent, depending on how you would like to do it.

For example, you can do it by having an email session shared with everyone so that they are pointed to the right form to complete.

At the end just one person submits the form

The alternative is to have the first person submit the form and have the other 2 people edit the form submission.

Depending on which of the 2 you would prefer - and if you can give us more details on the flow, we would be happy to assist.

    The details:

    1. can the second person see what the first person had wirtten
        - if they can, then they can make edits to this as well (but if this is not desired, we would need to find some other way)
    2. can the 3rd person see what both people added and be able to edit the data?

    Hi Ben

Thanks for your quick response :-)

I would like the first person to submit the form and the other 2 then edit the form.  The second and third can see all the contents of the form as this is an authorisation process.  The second and third need also to be able to make edits if data supplied by the first person is incorrect.

I look forward to receiving your solution!

    Kind regards

    Hi,

If this would be the case, you can just add {edit_link} to the Notifier email of your form and then send the edit link to the second and third person that needs to edit the form. If you want to automatically send edit link to the second and third person you can also send them using a Notifier email or Autoresponder.

If you have created the form, can you provide to us the link or name of the form in question so we can give you a step by step instruction on how to set this up on your form? And also, I would just like to ask, if the second and third person will edit the form in order? For example the third person cannot edit the form unless the second person has already edited the form?

We will wait for your response.

    Regards.

Hi Ben... I've actually managed to work it out by setting rules and then selected edit for the second person.

    Thanks for your help :-)
