    Error Message When Trying to Use File Downloader App

    New to Jotform. I am working with someone who is trying to use the File Downloader Plug-In. She followed the steps outlined within the plug-in installation page but received the following error message when running the command:

    "ssl_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=sslv3 read server certificate b: certificate verify failed"

    I've included a screen shot of the error message for a reference. I checked a couple of sites for a resolution but the closest I found was in relation to OpenSSL. Here's the link to that site:

    She currently has the latest version of RubyInstaller for Windows (2.2.2) installed on her computer (Windows 7 64-bit). I received the same error message on a separate computer (Windows 7 64-bit) running RubyInstaller for Windows version 2.1.6.

    Can someone provide clear steps on how to resolve this issue?

    I have forwarded this problem to our developers so they can investigate the cause of it. Unfortunately, the support team cannot check our backend apps. If there are updates, you should know it in this thread.

    For now, please use any of the following methods:

    Access your form submissions page: https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-view-Submissions. From there, you should be able to see the "Download All Uploads" button. Simply click the button to begin the download process:

     

    Or simply use our Mozille Add on Method:

    Thank you for this. Unfortunately, it appears the interface may have changed since your screen shot. Here is what she sees:

     

     

    Has there been any update on the error from the support team? Additionally, is there a Google Chrome Add-On similar to the referenced Mozilla Firefox Add-On?

    I just tried it again and the button is there. I'm using a non-Support account on a different computer. Note that the button won't appear in the submissions page if your form doesn't have a file upload field.

    For Google Chrome, try this:

    @Welvin Is this related to the other issues I've seen around the forum in the past few minutes about the uploads not displaying/ downloading correctly?

    I don't think the original issue in this thread is related to that. The issue we have a while ago is about the download links in the email, but downloading through the submissions panel is still working fine.
